Last night I got to practice saying farewell. One of my colleagues said goodbye to his job in one of the school’s other departments. Practically the whole team turned up at his reception. It was a good opportunity to combine saying goodbye to this colleague and seeing the rest of my colleagues in a low profile. [...] The other day I had a conversation with the medical examiner. Since I haven’t worked from October 14th I thought it would be wise to speed up my evaluation that was due June. The verdict was clear: 100% unfit to work. Of course this is confronting, but I had about 5 months to get used to the [...] Action time! Thankfully, I have no fever for the third day running, so I am slowly but surely coming to life again. Did a session on the crosstrainer yesterday and today, as I’ve become as limp as a dishrag. That’s something to get to work on! It all starts on Monday.
